CO_LAB — Breath of One Many by Sissel Tolaas in collaboration with Octave Perrault. The installation reimagines fragrance beyond commercial and narrative conventions. Key molecules extracted from participating perfume houses are isolated and presented in their pure, elemental form, free from branding or storytelling. Transmitted through an air network into a central space, they merge with a sitespecific Mulberry Tree molecule to create a shared atmospheric composition. Air acts as a democratic, boundaryless medium, dissolving distinctions between brands and individuals.
Through radical minimalism, the installation transforms scent into a collective, evolving sensory field—where breath becomes participation and individual identities converge into a unified, living presence.
